I kid you not. According to an email from the Albemarle County Republican Committee, Ex-Gov. Allen, who is running to reassert his title as “the Macaca Senator,” will be in Scottsville to raise money for local Republican candidates. My question: why would any candidate want to associate their campaign with a poster boy of modern American racism? Does Jim Norwood condone using racist epithets? Regardless, the deal is, for five bucks, you can join Felix Macacawitz and other politicians with reconstruction-era mindsets for Breakfast. Any bets on the percentage of minorities at the event?
